Be Insured
House insurance is very important, of course we can't predict what will
happen in the future. At least if your house is insured, and if in an
event that circumstances comes along you have the assurance that
everything are covered accordingly.
If you buy a house, you are responsible for insuring it and it starts
from the date stated in the contract. It may be up to you to insure your
house as soon as you exchange contracts, not when you settle and take
possession.

It is always better to be safe than sorry. It is also wise to assume the
responsibility from the minute you signed the contract, generally
it's like taking one step ahead to safety.
No one wants to see your new home go up in smoke - but if it does,
adequate insurance will have the means to replace it. If you have a
mortgage, the credit provider will require you to take out building
insurance. Otherwise, you have an option to look around and choose some
offer that you think will work for you.
